Marc has lived in San Francisco, California for many years and has enjoyed a successful career in public relations and advertising. He met and fell in love with a woman from mainland China and together they have been married for 17 years. They have a 14-year-old son who is fluent in both English and Mandarin. As a child, Marc learned from his father how important volunteering is, and today, volunteering continues to be a big part of his life. In honor of his Chinese wife's family and his true love for the warm-hearted Chinese people, Marc decided to become an organ donor in China, where he currently spends much of his time. Marc is the first American to register to donate organs in China on the new website:www.china-organdonation.org.cn. Marc said, "When I heard about the many helpless children waiting for an organ donation, I knew I wanted to register immediately. The new website has made it all possible. Without the website, I would not know how to donate my organs in China." Marc added, "I feel that my life is much richer and more meaningful since volunteering to donate my organs here in China."
